Bathscape and Avon Wildlife Trust have worked together with local primary schools and volunteers to create a new suite of resources for educators who want to bring more nature into their school grounds and their teaching.

At this free workshop at Bath City Farm you’ll have a chance to meet like-minded educators from across Bath, try out some outdoor learning ideas, and be the first to get your hands on these practical activity guides, which include guides for planning visits to two local nature sites: Carr’s Wood and Twerton Round Hill.

The workshop will be led by Lucy Hellier, Avon Wildlife Trust’s Learning Manager and will also include:

– Tea & cake!

– Advice on improving school grounds for nature

– Launch of a video celebrating and promoting outdoor learning, made with St Michael’s Junior School in Twerton

Spaces are limited so please book in advance – book here.
