The Widcombe Association has created a series of six self-guided walks in Southern Bath covering Widcombe, Lyncombe and Bear Flat. Their aim is to encourage people to enjoy our wonderful countryside and city views, visit local shops, pubs and cafes and to visit the landmarks which make this part of the City so special. Walking is also good for your health and the environment.
You can see all six walks, together with supporting directions, maps and information about what you can see on each walk here.
A printed summary leaflet has been produced with QR codes for people to access the details on the web (i.e. does not include the detailed directions or walk information) and this is available in outlets in both the Widcombe Parade and Bear Flat. Bear Flat: The Good Bear Cafe, The Bear Hotel, Da Vinci Deli. Widcombe Parade: White Hart, Fine & Dandy, Ring o Bells, Flamingo, Luca & Fig, the RAM, Deli and Prior Park Garden Centre Cafe. Or you can download it here – Widcombe Association Six Walks
The Widcombe Association, Bear Flat, Bath Ramblers and Bath & North East Somerset Council have all contributed to this project.
