We have been on a mission to improve local grasslands and woodlands, helping to tackle the ecological emergency.

The Bathscape is a unique area of outstanding beauty, with its hills, valleys, grasslands and woodlands.  Its rich history and heritage, amazing geology and wildlife, needs us all to take care of it.

We have improved the management of significant areas of woodland, grasslands, meadows and viewpoints.

Our team of advisors have given owners of woodland and meadows free advice on wildlife-friendly management.  Small grants to help with this have been distributed.

We have created this guide Making meadows, based on the experiences of the Bath Meadow Owners Group, to help you get started.

Friends of Lyncombe Hill Fields have put together this really useful guide for conservation volunteers, based on their experiences and things they wished they’d known – The Nature Volunteer’s Companion

You can see what we’ve achieved on the land in this Impact Document – Land & Conservation impact report 1
