Enjoy a guided tour around the beautiful New American Garden designed by Oehme van Sweden in 2018. Explore the native plants of an American garden, the rose garden with its native and pioneer varieties, and the American wildflower prairie as well as the Mount Vernon parterre and vegetable garden, based upon George Washington’s Virginia home.

An expert volunteer will guide us round.

Hear about the historical landscape exhibits in the wider parkland and soak up the stunning views of the Limpley Stoke Valley. Then explore the gardens at your leisure.

There are excellent facilities in the Gardens, the walk is mainly flat and less than a mile.  It is fully accessible for people using wheeled devices eg wheelchairs and mobility scooters.

Dogs on leads welcome.
