Following one of the new routes from Bath’s Urban Treescape Trails, this walk explores the variety of trees that are found in this part of Bath – the glorious beech trees leading up to Alexandra Park and around Widcombe.
It is led by Hugh Williamson, Mayor’s Guide and tree enthusiast. Facilities (shops, cafes, toilets and public transport) along Widcombe Parade. The walk will stop and look at trees, and so is taken at a gentle pace and there are plenty of opportunities to rest.
