Following one of the new routes from Bath’s Urban Treescape Trails, this walk explores the variety of trees that are found in this part of Bath – in amongst the residential area of Snow Hill and along the river in Kensington Meadows.

It is led by Hugh Williamson, Mayor’s Guide and tree enthusiast. Facilities (shops, cafes, toilets and public transport) are within easy reach along the route. The walk will stop and look at trees, and so is taken at a gentle pace and there are plenty of opportunities to rest.

Please note:

  • The finish time of the walk is approximate
  • The walk length is about 1.5 miles
  • The walk is mostly flat but there are some steps and possibly muddy paths
  • The walk will start and end at the entrance to Morrisons, London Road (BA1 6AN)
  • Bus to London Road (stop Morrisons)
