This lovely, varied walk starts in Weston village and goes up Sion Hill to lesser-known Bath crescents, with fine architecture and good views. We descend to Hedgemead Park for a refreshment break, and continue via The Paragon, The Circus, Royal Crescent, and Royal Victoria Park. After a short visit to the Botanical Gardens, we walk back into Weston.
As this is a city walk, walkers can, if they wish, leave the walk early after letting the leader know.
The walk is 4.5 miles and starts and finishes at Weston Parish Hall. Please bring a drink and a snack for the refreshment stop.
The walk is led by Jackie and Jeff from Bath Ramblers. There are toilets at the start and along the route. There are some steps and some steep sections. It’s mainly paved.
