BSL guided history 3-mile circular walk tour around Bathwick (on the east side of river Avon from Bath city centre) will be led by Andrew Plaster on Saturday 6th September.
The walk route takes in some of the best streets and passes most elegant Georgian buildings (including Great Pulteney Street, Pulteney Bridge etc.) in one of two of the wealthiest Bath suburbs.
The walk meets at 10.45am for 11.00 start at the back of Bath Spa railway station.
There will a lunch break by a cafe at Sydney Gardens. Bring your own picnic, or you can buy in the cafe or kiosk.
The walk should finish at around 3.00pm or bit later.
Please note – this walk will be wholly in British Sign Language, there will be no interpretation for hearing people who don’t speak BSL.
The walk route is mostly flat and accessible for wheelchair and mobility scooter users – there is a flight of steps down to the canal, but there is an alternative route.
