Starting at the P&R pavilion (a parking charge is applicable) we cross to the site of the civil war battle before walking along the north-facing escarpment with views of the Cotswolds and the Severn Valley. Dropping into the ancient village of North Stoke we then use green lanes to visit Prospect Stile, a viewpoint across the city of
Bath, before crossing Bath Racecourse to return to the start point.
