Nature on your doorstep. Join the team from CPRE Hedgerow Heroes in the company of Steve England, to explore the beauty and wonder of Alexandra Park and Lyncombe Hill.

Join a fascinating tour of Alexandra Park and Lyncombe Fields in the company of Steve England local naturalists and outdoors expert. Steve says…

“All my life I have loved the outdoors. Growing up in Bristol, my childhood was spent exploring the fields and woodlands of Stoke Park, fascinated by every tree, plant, bird & butterfly. I would regularly leave at dawn and return at dusk, bags filled with my collections and finds, my notebook scribbled and stuffed with tree cuttings and unusual findings from the parkland.” Steve will be leading this walk through two beautiful green park gems in Bath. It promises to be a walk to inspire and riff on the wonder of nature on your doorstep!

This walk is arranged and accompanied by the CPRE Hedgerow Heroes Project and a great opportunity to learn how you can get involved in learning more about natural history while restoring hedgerows in Bath.

The walk is less than a mile around the two green spaces, mainly surfaced pathways. No dogs on this walk, please.

The walk starts in Alexandra Park – a short, sharp, uphill walk from the train station/city centre.

Booking is essential, please, you can book your free place here – book Hedgerow Heroes.
