After a year or more penned up at home it’s time to unleash your creativity and dip your quill into nature.

Join Kilter’s Artistic Directors in the long grass on the overlooked outskirts of Bath City Farm. Uncover the season’s voices hidden in the woods and fields through two hours of simple exercises, creative musing, and wild, free writing…

Meet at the cafe for a short introduction before a contemplative 15-minute stroll to a quiet corner of the farm. There we’ll settle down to some written warm-up exercises in response to the themes of place and time. Finally, the last half an hour of the session will allow participants to develop their ideas more fully – and share back if you like.

Voices, musings, and creative passages from this workshop may form part of a public sharing at Bath City Farm – The Words They Found There – on Sunday 27 June.

Suitable for closet writers, wild thinkers, free spirits and the achingly constrained. The workshop is designed for 16+. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.

This workshop is part of Kilter’s 4-year Bathscape commission to help local people creatively connect with their beautiful world-heritage landscape throughout the year. The workshop would normally cost £10+ but thanks to players of The National Lottery we are able to offer it for free!
