Our Views & Vistas project aims to record people’s favourite landscape views throughout the Bathscape area so that we can better understand and enjoy them.
We are looking for volunteers to help by researching and sharing their favourite viewpoints. The work can take many forms including traditional online or archival research, fieldwork, photography or another art form. We’re interested in any aspects of the view that are of interest to the volunteer – it could be purely historical or geological or perhaps the natural beauty of the area is of most interest. It could be a combination of all these aspects or perhaps it’s none of these, but the view is of personal importance because it conjures up happy memories or is significant in some other way.
Whatever form it takes, we’re really keen that people help us to share and celebrate the importance of our local landscape views. To discuss the project further or to be sent an instruction pack, please contact info@bathscape.co.uk
