This September, Bathscape is holding its first walking festival, to celebrate the nature, heritage and views that are in easy reach of the city. Visitors and residents of Bath have walked in the green setting of Bath for health and well-being for centuries.
The Bathscape Walking Festival is part of the Bathscape Landscape Partnership scheme funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund. It is intended that the Festival will become an annual event and bring recognition for the health-giving powers of the landscape. During the Development Phase of the Bathscape project we have a couple of projects to pilot, and the Walking Festival is one of them.
