A scenic guided walk from Southdown Roundhill to Newark Works by the River Avon in central Bath.

Led by Bathscape Walk leaders Karen and Helena

Approximately 7 km of gentle-paced walking exploring 10 beautiful parks and interesting green spaces. We will take a short break in Moorlands Park to admire the magnificent trees and a few stops along the way to take in the views and enjoy being in different green spaces.

Meeting in Southdown by the entrance to Roundhill Play Park. The No. 1 bus from central Bath will drop you at Roundhill Grove stop, only a few minutes walk from the starting point. Please take a minute to ensure you have the right meet-up point. What three words abode.novel.letter

Free on-street parking in the area. If you’re stuck then look for Roundhill Primary School and it’s just along the road.

Note – Assistant dogs only please, suitable for adults and older teens. Please wear suitable footwear, and bring water, flask etc. Please note the route includes walking on pavements, grass and tracks. Includes moderate inclines and descents: a few steps and rough tracks.

We will take a short break in Moorlands Park to admire the magnificent trees and a few stops on the way to take in the views and have time for discussions, sharing stories and local knowledge. Please note there are NO toilets until almost the end of the walk in Alexandra Park.

The walk will only be cancelled in the event of heavy rain.

The endpoint at Newark Works is hosting more projects from the Fringe Art Bath festival.
