CELEBRATE BATH’S UNIQUE LANDSCAPE BY TAKING A WALK
Join us for this year’s Bathscape Walking Festival from 6th to 21st September 2025.
We are now taking bookings, so please browse through the walks below and book on the walks you like the look of, or get in touch if you’d like more information.
New to this year’s programme: a deaf-led guided walk; an accessible sensory experience in Henrietta Park; and a photography walk-shop, as well as some returning favourites. We’ll be celebrating Bath’s links with Alkmaar for the 80th anniversary of the twinning relationship and visiting some modernist architecture, Jane Austen gets a mention too.
We’re also encouraging people to visit the neighbouring walking festival and Walkers are Welcome groups in Somer Valley, Keynsham and Bradford-on-Avon.
The full programme is below, each walk listing has additional access information, what to bring etc and booking details here – walking-festival-full-programme or contact Bathscape on 01225 477265 or by email at info@bathscape.co.uk and we’ll find the right walk for you. A summary of all the walks can be downloaded here – Walking Festival 2025 Summary Programme
For all walks, if you have access requirements, please get in touch to discuss them. We can often offer a guide for Blind and visually impaired people including on our longer walks. We have a walk this year wholly in BSL. We try and provide information about whether the walk is wheel-friendly or not. Finally, some walks aren’t suitable for dogs, but of course, assistance dogs are welcome on all walks. Check the full listing for more information.
Whilst you’re waiting for September, keep an eye on our events page for walks throughout the year or check our weekly wellbeing walking groups for regular walks. Or have a look at the self-guided trail guides in the activities section below.
We would particularly like to thank players of the national lottery and the National Lottery Heritage Fund for supporting our work. We hope to see players of the lottery on the walks – say hello if you buy a ticket!
